About Mitchell Maurin
Meet Mitchell Maurin, an American rocket-man who's not only passionate about his day job but also an amateur photographer. His trusty camera has been his BFF on his globetrotting escapades, taking him from the Turkish mosques to the sandy beaches of Costa Rica. Mitchell's motto is simple: no subject is too boring or too weird to capture on film. So whether it's a stunning landscape or a random squirrel, his camera is always ready to snap away! If you're interested in getting your hands on prints of his work, just hit him up by filling out the contact form. Warning: you might become addicted to his snapshots and start seeing the world through Mitchell's lens!
Mitchell lives in Houston with his wife Banan, who must be absolutely bananas for putting up with his obsession with space. Mitchell's passion for the cosmos is out of this world! He's working on colossal projects with NASA, such as the Space Launch System and International Space Station, and he's striving to become an astronaut someday. I mean, who wouldn't want to be an astronaut? You get to float around in zero gravity and eat astronaut ice cream all day! He's got brains too - Mitchell has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, and he's even working on getting his private pilot's license. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to be on the same plane as him until he gets that license!
Mitchell and Banan, a couple of adventurous souls, got bit by a travel bug stronger than a Louisiana swamp mosquito during their honeymoon in Turkey. Ever since then, they've been on a mission to tick off as many countries on their bucket list as possible each year. And boy, do they have a knack for making it happen! Don't be surprised if they send you a postcard from the moon someday!
